I have had to jump start my van for the past month or so, the terminal on the battery (6 months old) is stripped so I thought the connection was bad. Sometimes if I push on the terminal or hit it, the van would start. Well tonite, the battery cable just snapped off. Can I do something to get it to a shop so I don't have to tow the van?

It is best to fix the reason why the van has not been starting properly. Your local auto parts store will have battery terminal repair ends that would allow you to "strip" back the cable insulation and make a safe and proper connection at the battery. If it is the positive side cable make sure you are careful and not short out the battery or cause arcing.
