I broke down yesterday and am using a mechanic I am familiar with but the price seems excessive. The a/c compressor ceased and the belt burnt off. they have to install an new compressor and because when you replace compressor you have to replace receive dryer which is part of condensing unit they are installing condensing unit I am also getting mt front breaks done including rotors and left calipar and left front break hose, transmission flushed and new wiring on my alternator for a total of $2,300.00 Is this excess price?
