have replaced plugs and wires, dpfe, coil pack, injector.. each time mis had gotten better, now runs just as rough as before also running very rich.. running average 10mpg. constant flash of check engine light... would it be worth grinding valve seats? compression check has not been run...

WHAT DOES YOUR MECHANIC SAY? YOU LEFT NO INFO. AS TO WEATHER YOU ARE A MECH. SCAN TEST IS WHAT I WOULD DO NEXT TO FIND MISFIRE(S). THEN GO FROM THERE WITH CHECK'S FOR IGNITION FIRE, FUEL & INJECTOR PULSE, COMPRESSION AND VACUUM LEAKS.
