Question: back up lights aftermarket kit

..replaced OEM rear lights with aftermarket kit (darkened version) and everything works except for right rear back up bulb. tried swapping out bulbs and still not working - get that annoying error message for the rear b/u bulb..any suggestions?

    Check for power and ground to the bulb socket, and work your way back from there. Could be a loose wire, or the new bulb housing. Try jiggling the wires and see if the light turns on.

    Ensure bulbs in new unit are the same wattage as the bulbs in the old unit. Perhaps disturbing the wires in the rear has fracture a wire in the harness. As Bret said wiggle the harness and see if you can locate the problem.
