b1s2 02 sensor on 1999 Lincoln Continental

to replace this after the catalatic converter, does the converter come off.?? is this in the piepes

Once you disconnect the wiring it should just screw out and the new one screw in. To prevent damage to the sensor you will want to get an O2 sensor socket.
