  Shop: Autoscope. Quality of Work: **Customer Service: **

  Asked them for a diagnostic on our Lexus because it wouldn't start. They padded the estimate with labor and the purchasing and installing of parts we did not authorize costing almost $100. Then they charged us $400 for the diagnostic and did nothing to fix it. I would end up paying 2/3 of that and for what, nothing. If i didn't pay it they would have kept our car. Then they had the gall to ask us if we would sell them our car.

  Autoscope has first class facilities and does excellent work.

  But what has made me a huge fan of Autoscope is how they treated me last time I was there when the clutch cable snapped on my Saab.

  They replaced the cable free of charge, even though it was a couple of months out of warranty. (I had it replaced there last May when they replaced the clutch on my '97 900.)

  They even paid for the towing charges.

  I am grateful to the folks at Autoscope for the kindness and empathy they showed -- and will highly recommend them whenever I can.
