Automotive Repair Group
They wanted to charge me additional for service because since I had a Toyota truck and wanted to bring Toyota brake pads as they are far better that Carquest parts they use for the replacement. After speaking to service manager she said this was the Owners rules and because many people bring them the wrong parts that they have to penalize everybody charging them a higher labor rate. I would not take my vehicle here and recommend you don't. Business need to do WHAT IS RIGHT and not What gives the a Fatter Pocket for No Reasoning.

The first time I took my Mercedes to auto repair group was when I has seen as advert that they beat estimates by 25%. I took my car in and showed them my estimate, they laughed typed up an estimate and handed it to me, they did not beat it by 25%, they beat it by 60%. Every time since I have taken my car to them, they have serviced and repaired it at a good price, in a timely manner and the problems were always fixed right the first time. I was a little skeptical at first as I had seen some negative reviews as well as lots of positive ones. The staff explained to me that many of the local shops place these negative reviews because they do not like auto repair group as they are doing much better than them and undercutting their prices, just proves how crooked many repair shops are, and the dealers are no exception.

I really enjoy bringing my car to Auto Repair Group. I've been bringing my car here since before they moved from the old shop. Amazing! Michelle, the manager, is super nice and is always very helpful with any questions I have about my car and the service it's getting, or needs. continue to bring my car here for oil changes and yearly maintenance. A couple months ago I brought my car in for its 75K service job, which was surprisingly affordable (unfortunately I don't remember how affordable, but I do remember it cost much less than the previous services that I had done elsewhere. There was only a couple of things that they suggested I do after the 75K job, but again, nothing too outrageous and nothing I hadn't heard of before. After the last service where they flushed a multitude of fluids using bg products so that I can get a lifetime warranty. Awesome! The prices are much less than what you'd pay elsewhere. And another important thing as a female who knows little about the insides of a car, I have NEVER felt like I was being taken advantage of here. They almost never suggest any other things that "need" to be done to my car or it's going to fall apart one day soon while driving to work. They don't tell me I need new windshield wipers a week after I replaced them MYSELF for CHEAPER (like Jiffy Lube). I am always happy to recommend Automotive Repair Group to anyone who cares about their car.

Automotive Repair Group
I have visited this shop several times, but was disappointed on my last visit to see that they were no longer there, but by asking around I was happy to learn that they moved to a much larger place just two miles away. In the past they have serviced my Porsche very well and at a fraction of the price that the german auto group used to charge me in Springfield. The new shop is amazing, very large, clean, modern with lots of high-end equipment. Nick, the owner personally greeted me and showed me around and explained the new tools and equipment. I connected to their free wifi, looking through the windows I could see 2 mechanics working on my car in tandem. After about an hour my car was ready, my bill was very reasonable, and my car was fixed and serviced the way it should be. Whatever car you have, come here, I have seen every type of car imaginable being worked on at this place, so I have complete confidence they can fix anything. The address on this website is wrong, the new address is 15610 Jefferson Davis Highway, Woodbridge, which is RT 1, just a mile south from the Dale Blvd/RT1 junction.

WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!
****************************
On Nov 1, 2008,...NICK (owner of Automotive Repair Group) picked me up ....He lifted me up while I was on my cellphone. I was shocked.
On Nov 4, 2008.....NICK gave me an invoice and when I questioned it because he lied about what it would cost on a previous visit, lied about where my part was purchased, and lied about what it cost him. I also wanted my original part back.....He got mad....So, he MADE A NEW INVOICE while the work on my car was almost DONE.....he decided to DOUBLE the price! I was furious and he refused to give me my car back until he robbed me of the 2nd invoice. Did I mention he decided my credit card was no good so I had to give him CASH! I waited for this low life to come to his senses for TWO HOURS in the RAIN....He just ignored me. I apologized even to just get my car back but he INSISTED on getting CASH on the second bill I never saw, never agreed to .....
To make matters worse, I had to call POLICE to help me but they couldnt as they do not get involved in civil disputes. I was ROBBED by NICK. He advertises $50 an hour but can change the bill if you DARE question it. Oh and did I mention he brags about how rich he is and how many lawyers he has so he doesnt care if you want to sue him.
SO TO SUM UP:
1) NICK lied about the cost of parts and where they were purchased.
2) He picked me up because he felt like it.
3) He gave me a bill and doubled it because I asked him questions.
4) He advertises one price and bills you another.
5) He thinks your original parts belong to him.
6) He lets other customers drive you car while its in the shop.
7) He can refuse credit card payments and demand cash while holding your car.
8) He is stubborn, unreasonable and unethical.
9) I crowned this shop worst shop in the DC metro area.
10) Do I need a 10?
This is the absolute worst experience I had ever had in my LIFE with any business. TERRIBLE!Flag ThisLike | 2 people like this2
