Question: Automatic Transmission Stuck in Park

 Rookie

Have checked release Switch at brake pedal, tests ok , Brake lights both sides are good, center light not working. What to check next.

    There is a solenoid that keeps it locked in park when it goes out. It is underneath the shifter assembly. It keeps the Rover from accidentally getting nocked out of gear. I just took mine out!
