Automatic Transmission May Not Shift Correctly at High Mileages on Toyota Tacoma

At higher mileages, (125,000-150,000) the automatic transmission may not shift correctly. This can be caused by the throttle position sensor being out of adjustment or a shift solenoid needing to be replaced. Typically the transmission does not need to be completely overhauled.

1998 Toyota Tacoma- 2WD210,000
98' tacoma transmission winding out to 30mph before shifting to 2nd gear and winding out to 55mph before going into 3rd gear. Also the overdrive will not engage.
Truck started to vibrate and not shift properly! When traffic comes to a stop and I have to hit my brakes real quick my transmission goes out/ feels like it goes in to neutral, when I accelerate the rpms go to 4k and have to let off then it's an abrupt shift and loud noise!! Even when I turn and hit the brakes my transmission does the same damn thing feels like it goes into neutral and when I accelerate the rpms just shoot up like its in neutral!! And then it's an abrupt shift and loud noise!! I just had the transmission flushed and refilled!! What the hell is going on I've had older toyotas with way more miles and this has never happened!!!
2005 Toyota Tacoma- 2WD90,000
Same problem. When I need to stop and then accelerate it's feels line the trans is i neutral and the comes a loud noise and feels like other car hit me on the back and after that the transmision will not shift to 4 gear. When that appens I need to stop, put on parking and shut down the truck and then start the truck again.... What is the problems with these transmisions ???

2009 Toyota Tacoma- 4WD111,350
Trans has a surging problem in passing gear. When merging onto the highway, you can hear it wanting to go and feel it surge. Have to merge at slower speed and work your way up to speed. Have to baby it abit.
2004 Toyota Tacoma- 4WD144,000
When driving above 55mph on an incline untill I get above 60mph the trans jerks or "hichups" very noticeable on an incline.
slow to shift into 2nd gear first thing in morning no problem rest of day
1999 Toyota Tacoma- 2WD218,000
Transmission seems to have a hard time shifting from 1st to 2nd (around 35mph) especially when the engine is warm, When the engine is cooler the problem is less noticeable. I had the transmission fluid replaced (not flushed) and that seemed to help somewhat, I also tried flushing the coolant which did not seem to contribute to a fix.
2006 Toyota Tacoma- 2WD110,000
shifter is shifting hard
2004 Toyota Tacoma- 2WD160,000
Feels like a tranny slip; not reactive to acceleration. Will just back off at random times while driving-in OD, not in OD, happening at all speed ranges. More common when in warm/hot engine light issues or engine temp issues. Have had sensor "cleaned" during other maintenance and issue did not occur for months, but now has returned with a vengeance and truck now over 215k mi.
2014 Toyota Tacoma- 2WD17,000
Still happenning! When we are using cruise control, going uphill, the Tacoma revs when it tries to maintain speed, goes over the number, then falls down below with a clunk as it shifts.
2001 Toyota Tacoma- 2WD178,000
High rpms (45) at highway speeds, back off and abrupt shift to lower rpms.
2001 Toyota Tacoma- 2WD200,000
check engine light shift solenoid sensor code p0770 when code is read
