At higher mileages, (125,000-150,000) the automatic transmission may not shift correctly. This can be caused by the throttle position sensor being out of adjustment or a shift solenoid needing to be replaced. Typically the transmission does not need to be completely overhauled.

    a full tank give only 200 miles, Automatic Transmission in 2nd and3rd shift take time to shift

    transmission dont want to shift in to 2nd geer . and when i stop and try to take off its in 3rd geer and i have to manualy shift it into 1st to take off.

    98' tacoma transmission winding out to 30mph before shifting to 2nd gear and winding out to 55mph before going into 3rd gear. Also the overdrive will not engage.
