Question: Automatic Level Control tubes

I noticed that the rubber/silicone intake tubes connected to the Automatic Level Control compressor have cracked, and are now dangling down. Unfortunately I cannot locate replacements for them. Is it an option to just use regular generic rubber tubing, or is there some other source that I'm not aware of?
Thanks.

Look on line I am sure there are sources to be found for silicon hose once you know the internal diameter of the hose. I know its hard to find in our town a local performance VW shop always have it in stock so perhaps an on line race supply shop like JEGS or even JC Whitney may have it.
