Question: Automatic Level Control

 Rookie

The 1/4" air hoses attached to the Automatic Level Control compressor on my Venture have fallen apart. I managed to get new hoses, but the upper connection is inaccessible without removing the entire unit (which is difficult due to rust etc.). From what I can tell, the upper connection is just the pressure release solenoid, so it shouldn't really make a difference if I just left it the way it is. Is this correct?
