Normally an automatic transmission may have trouble getting out of Park if it looses power form the brake light switch to allow the park detent system to allow the car to be shifted out of park. If the transmission shift lever won't come form neutral forward to Park or Reverse the center console area needs to be disassembled to see what is getting jammed or not allowing the shifter to move forward from Neutral. If its something you may want to disassemble and inspect yourself there is a company that independent auto repair shops "buy" their information from that offer a very reasonable service to do it yourselvers. You get a one year subscription to year make and model specific repair procedures, service bulletins, component locations, wiring diagrams ect.... great quality information same as the professionals have ,much better than generic workshop manuals from parts stores, much cheaper than the factory manual.
