My car lights have just stopped coming on automatically when cranking car. I have not changed switch setting from auto. However, I did just start recieving an indication of a faulty bulb (it's in the rear brake drivers side.) Could this have an effect on the proper working of the lights? I wouldn't think so!

Hello ,, absolutely it will affect the problem you are having ,, the bcm ,, ( body control module ) in that car wil do exactly what you are describing ,, these computers in these cars today are very fast and intelligent ,, dont under estimate them
