This is Phil. I have tried to get in contact with this customer in regards to the repairs performed. The VW they own had an open recall on ignition coil replacement. I sent them to the dealer for free replacement of the ignition coils. The customer wasn't even aware of the open recall (free replacement) of the ignition coils.
-As far as repairs done prior to the coils going out, there were different codes stored the first visit then the second visit. Yes the timing was unfortunate but it was 2 different parts going out. Things break on VW's with over 90,000 miles.
-Now as far as me being dishonest, I disagree. The key was put under the mat. The customer couldn't find the key and blamed me for not putting it under the seat. I put it under the floor mat like I told them on the phone. I take pride in being up-front and honest. If you don't know what's going on with your car then you should ask questions before throwing me under the bus. A check engine light can come on for multiple issues.
-Everyone has opinions and every story has two sides. I'm just putting my side in.Flag ThisLike | 1 person likes this1 -

We took our vehicle there for repairs based on recommendation. What a mistake, after repairs on a check engine light we got car back only for check engine light to come back on,after $600 in repairs. Phil told us light was on due to a recall, hmm Manet car didn't need repairs? Then we asked if he could leave key under seat so we could pick up after hours, went there no keys in car, called let him know this he came out of shop told us the key was there under mat, he lied we looked there! Long story short he's untruthful can't be trusted! Don't take your car there! That's my opinion!
