  Until recently, Auto Express was my only mechanic. Last year I paid Bob LaPole to rebuild the engine in my Suburban. That was a huge mistake. For nearly 18 months, the truck was in and out of the shop. It never ran right after the rebuild.The check engine light stayed on. In fact, I had to have it towed back to Auto Express on my way home from vacation. I took it to two very reputable mechanics who both said the same thing. The engine rebuild was bad. I took it back to Auto Express and showed Bob the reports from the other mechanics, but he refused to acknowledge that the engine was bad.Finally, another shop removed a head and they said it was the worst rebuild they had ever seen. Bob LaPole, owner of Auto Express, was invited to go see the engine once it was broken down, but said he "didn't have the time." He offered to reimburse a small part of my expenses, which did not even cover what I paid him, much less the other mechanics. HE DOES NOT STAND BEHIND HIS GUARANTEE.
