a/t keeps down shifting on 2000 GMC Sonoma

I have a gmc Sonoma 2.2 a/t. is it normal for my a/t to keep down shifting on small inclines all the time?

New problem or new vehicle to you? If new truck, to you, the 4 cylinder will downshift more often than the V6. Especially if running in OD.
Should not be a problem, if you are still unsure, have a mechanic test drive it!
