Question: at cold start the car wont shift in drive, it goes in reverse fine

have to warm car up for 20 mins before it kicks in drive beside that the car runs like a race car

    ck fluid level and also look at color should be red not black.if its black try servicing trans ,if not scan for trans codes and post so we can adv
