At what mileage would you expect exhaust repairs to be necessary?

    It would be very difficult to predict exactly when exhaust system repair would begin to become necessary for any given vehicle. Being out here in California it is not uncommon to see 100k miles before any repairs are needed. I see however that you are from the Northeast, to me that means snow and salt on the roads which leads to rust. This combination can severely shorten the life of any metal parts including the exhaust system components on your 2004 Honda Accord. Maybe some other Accord owners living in the Northeast can provide us with some information regarding exhaust system repairs on their cars.

    It all depends on what part of the country you live if your close to salt water and how often you get snow mufflers have a general lifespan of 125k
