2000 Dodge Caravan Question: are your high beam lights suposed to work when the light switch is not turned on

 Rookie

i spliced a wiring harness together and mached up all the coler wires but there are some that are the same color and when the lights are on there bright but they do get a little brighter when high beem switch is on? and like i said befor passenger turn signal is on but wont blink but the back does really fast cant find a wiring diagram to help me.thanks for your help god bless you all for all your help!

    No, unless you mean a flash function to alert motorists and others. Is it a Town and Country? They often have a headlamp control module that enable lights to come on as the day darkens and when exiting your vehicle in your driveway during darkness to let you get in the house. If the module fails, it is difficult to predict which erratic malfunctions might appear.

    If the headlamps were functioning normally before the surgery, they should work fine now. If the malfunction is ocurring post-splicing, I doubt it is the multifunction swich, but you are having a lot of trouble since you spliced as I said you would. How is the inoperative right turn signal coming along? Do not neglect the possibility that you might have a burned out bulb.

    the turn signal not blinking and it blinks fast when the blower is off and blinks normal when blower is on is my only isue now.
