I just bought a convertable 325ci, on the way home from picking it up, it died on the highway. We had it towed to the nearest BMW dealer. They diagnosed it with a bad battery and alternator. Car only has 11K miles on it. I was quite upset since I had just purchased it.

Anyone else report this problem?

Pam

This is why I ALWAYS recommend that people have an independent shop look over the car, pre-purchase. Even though it may be a 'Certified' BMW vehicle with low miles, you can still get hit with unexpected repairs. Cars with 11lk can still have problems, even high end cars like a BMW.
