Question: Anyone know how to get the ignition lock out of a 1991 500SL benz.

The key won't turn anymore so the car is dead in the water. I want to take it out and give it to a locksmith.

    call a mobile lock smith and have him come to you. its slightly more but worth the few extra bucks

    remove the dash instrument cluster the rest is very easy to do once you have done this go on line to utube there is a vidio that will show you how to remove cluster very easy
