Sounds like you might have a fuel pressure problem. A simple way to check this is to turn the key on and listen for the fuel pump to run for ten seconds. If you do ten turn it off wait a few seconds and turn it back on and listen agin if the pump runs do this about 5 times what you are doing is primeing the fuel system then after doing try to start the car if it starts you have problem with the fuel system losing what is called redigural pressure.That could be aproblem with your pump or abad fuel regulator a dirty injector or going bad somethings causing the pressure to bleed off.But if you did not hear the fule pump run when you did this you need to check to why this could could be that the fuel pump relay is going bad and not singnaling the pump to come on until it biulds enough oil pressure to turn the pump on.A car that new sould not have this problem un less you are getting bad gas ever so often it sould be a warrenty issure take back to the dealer what ever it is make them fix or tell to buy it back cars cost to much for you to be having problems with 220000 miles on it.
