2003 Pontiac Grand Am Question: antifreeze spilling out after overheat.evrything replaced now knocking to

oringinal problem still exists after changing both gaskets, thermostat, radiator, overflow tank, cap right psi cap, no frothy, no stuff in oil, overheats antifreeze overflows, now knocking occurs and loss compression drove 30 max to get it home. yes to new water pump also. hoses look new but dont think they changed em

    if the engine is knocking then its time to get rid of the car or else put another engine in it .with it overheating like you say you probably spun a rod bearing

    not what i wanted to hear, but prob closer to the truth. this car was spitting out antifreeze and overheating when they replaced all the parts. then we got it back sameover heating problem occurred until finnaly the knocking. thanks.

    Sounds like when the vehicle over heated it did some permanent damage to engine. We would have to see or here it to be sure. Small chance but may be there is another issue that was overlooked.

    hoping it was the something overlooked, but ive thought it was bigger engine probelm all along when it was overheating befor the knocking
