I would like to know how to disarm this device. I must use the electronic key buttons to un lock the car doors. At times this does not work especially if car is left in the sun at a lengthy time. If I have to manually unlock door with key the horn will blow until I start the engine. I do my own work ,have The 4 set Volumn factory repair manuals .I have not been able to locate this in my manuals as how to permentally dis arm this device.

It is generally really hard to disarm a factory alarm. In every case that I have done so, I had to replace a part of the wiring harness and it was labor intensive. The key less entry key fob that unlocks the locks is all part of the theft system. It is all wired together, sorry to say.

Did you ever have the batteries changed in the remote, sometimes weak batteries makes the alarm system act up.
