When I first turn on the car, it won't go about 25 or so for a couple of minutes. After that, when I'm accelerating it stall for a second, every so often...kind of a 'sputtering'...it's a popping like action.

Masterthe car way be on limp mode is the check engine light on? Limp mode comes on when there's a problem with the car its purpose is to protect the car but not to leave you stranded.
