Took our 92 Caravan in for a complete exhaust system. Billed more than the estimate. Work wasn't done properly. After taking the car back so that they could see what the problem was THAT THEY SHOULD HAVE FIXED the "Manager" Joe said, well nobody told me to change the tailpipe. After four phone calls and insisting on the owner calling me back Ken, the owner, told me "It's stainless steel and lasts a lifetime." Just who's lifetime he was talking about I'm not sure. We can't afford a $1200.00 exhaust and my husband told him that. We didn't need a "lifetime" warranty, but he had to take the car to echeck and needed to pass. That doesn't mean you don't do something, it just means you quote the job properly and give your customer options. The Lifetime tailpipe that was bad didn't just go bad in the the past three weeks. LOUSEY WORK, LOUSEY SERVICE. The only way I got to Ken was to call and insist on having him call me back then he "just pulled in." Take your car anywhere else but here! Oh he did offer to do the tailpipe for $40.00 because he didn't want a "disatisfied" customer. Maybe that would have worked when we took the car back on Monday, but that didn't happen. What we got was rude, unprofessional, and attitude.
I got scammed very badly by these people. I would NEVER recommend anyone take their car there EVER. They lied to me, charged me for things that I never told them they could do to my car, and kept on guessing what was wrong with my car and charging me for it, and the problem was NEVER fixed. After spending over one thousand dollars, the problem was still there. They refused to negotiate with me and were very rude and unprofessional. I took it to another mechanic and the problem was fixed in 30 minutes, and it was only a $200 problem that the original dealership CLAIMED they had fixed (and charged me for)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
