Question: Alternator/ Navagation System

I have had to replace the alternator and navgation system at least three times. What could be causing my problems. The cost of thses two items are driving me crazy.

    Brianna,
    Have you been taking this to the BMW Dealership? Or somewhere else? Do you know if the parts are from BMW or if they are aftermarket parts?
