2000 Honda Accord Question: alternator belt

can i by pass my a/c with a smaller belt and if i can what belt do i need

    The alternator is above the air conditioning compressor it is not possible for the compressor to be bypassed using a shorter belt as the compressor gets in the way. I have been able to do it on some other cars. Perhaps if the compressor was removed a shorter belt would fit as that belt is adjusted using the tensioner bolt mounted on the alternator bracket.

    on a 2ooo honda accord u can by pass the a/c use a string to measure the size belt when u take the belt off
