altenator on 2008 Toyota Yaris

i was replacing the altenator forgot to disconnect the battery the altenator wire arced i completed the installation cranked car no throttle response check engine light p/s light on tire pressure light flashing please advise

Disconnect the battery again and leave it disconnected for fifteen minutes or longer and reconnect and see if the car now starts and runs. After tat I would say you have to hook up a scan tool to see what codes are stored in the computer. I just worked on a Mazda similar story, owner replaced alternator, caused a short and it damaged the computer in the car ended up being an expensive repair. There are companies that re-manufacture your computer if it has been damaged.
