Took my 2001 Grand Am to GMC dealer for recall service. Also the Service Engine Soon warning light on. Dealer wanted $150 just to tell me what the Error Code was. I said no thanks.
Went to Allied Auto Works, they checked the Error Code, and we set-up a service appointment. They ordered the part they suspected may be causing the error. They troubleshoot my car, and the part they ordered was actually working OK on my car. They keep looking, and found that a mouse or squirrel had eaten through my wiring harness. They repaired the wiring harness and all is well! No replacement parts required. They charged much less than my GMC dealer, and they did not install parts that were not necessary.
I can't say enough good about the Allied AutoWorks team.
Their Customer Service, and Integrity in Quality Automotive Repair is something that you must experience first-hand.
Give them a try . . . you will be Very Happy ($$$) you did!
