  We had an overheated minivan broke down. AAA Tower suggested taking it here. They had it back up & running at minimal cost, quickly. Liked the people who waited on us. Brought an 1989 Mercedes 560 SL in for oil change & diagnostics. Found maintenance needs expected - fouled spark plugs badly missing. Also muffler hangers broken. Thought might be problem w a/c thermostat - colder than would expect. But they found no problem. Had them do maintenance service well overdo. Cost $1300. Car running very well. Hard to find old Mercedes mechanic shop u can trust.

  My wife had her check engine light come on during a trip to south Florida from Atlanta, took the car to the first place they could find which was ATL. The error code showed a catalytic converter error, no big deal. I told her to get the oil changed and be on her way. After another hour I get a call from her that she let them (for $60 extra dollars) do a "complete diagnostic" and that they now recommended $1600-$1900 worth of work to the car. I spoke to the manager and this is the run down of what they wanted to do:

  Flush trans, flush/clean fuel sys, replace 2 Cat converter sensors, replace spark plugs and replace valve cover gasket, change the oil.

  After I spoke to Patrick, I told my wife NOT to have any of those things done. She said she was worried about the car and that they "already had it taken apart, so they may as well do the work".
  She was crying and hysterical and so worked up that she could not think clearly, no Idea what they told her. She paid $1600 for a routine tune up
