My husband took his car to this location on Sat. March 13,2010. My husband's car is a '98 528i BMW. He has been having problems with the car accelerating. He left his car to have the mechanic diagnose it. When the mechanic called, he told my husband he needed a tune up and that would fix the problem because the spark plugs were worn out. This cost us $489 which included a $100 diagnostic. Basically, we paid almost $500 and the car still runs the exact same way it went in. This mechanic should not have touched the car because he told my husb. not to drive the car without getting a new catalytic converter, so why did he do work he knew wouldn't solved the problem? He should told my husband that a tune up will fix the problem. When I called on Monday the 15th to speak w/the mechanic, he informed me that he could not have diagnosed the problem until after the tune up was done ???? (sounds shady) because the spark plugs were so worn out. I asked him why did you charge him $100 for a diagnostic if you couldn’t figure out what the problem was? Again, $100 charge and he still couldn't tell me husband what the exact problem was. He stated my husband also needed coils and if he were to get the coils, then the problem would be fixed. I asked him to put that in writing and he said he wouldn’t. I asked him what about the Catalytic Converter he told my husband he needed on the phone. He stated he may need one. That's not what he told my husband on the phone because I was on the other end. He told my husband he needed to get a Catalytic Converter and when my husband told him he didn't have the money for that right now the mechanic stated "I wouldn't drive that car because you really need one." We are out $489 and still have the same exact problem we went in with. If they did not know what the problem was they should have just said so instead of suckering $500 out of us.

Rip off. Quality of the work was good, but I was way overcharged. Had to bring it back and was told that if I had any problems, I could bring it back and they would fix it for free. They backtracked when I brought it back. Said it would cost another $400. I said no and then they suddenly found a used part and could do it for $180. Walked out. Very shady.
