shifts like a sledge hammer. is there an electronic part for this problem...?

    I think you have an hydraulic transmission, not electronic but I'm not sure. Either way, it sounds like a problem with the fluid pressure regulation in the trans. If it's an electronic transmission, there's a line pressure solenoid valve in the valve body which could be faulty, and if it's hydraulic, there's a line pressure control system which could also be faulty. either way, a line pressure check is in order. Find an Audi or Honda expert or a transmission shop to check it out for you.
