1996 Ford E-150 Question: all locks wont work making noise

 Rookie

today the locks stopped working and started making a noise

    1 or more of the lock actuators is defective, need to find it and remove the door panel and replace it.

    I have to assume that you are talking about electronic lock actuators? We have seen the lock actuators fail in all doors. This is due to one actuator that fails and draws down the current in the system. The remaining lock actuators then fail due to the lower current. They make a growling noise when they fail during actuation.
