The car alarm on my 1993 Lincoln Mark 8 keeps going off every time I use my keyless remote to lock the doors. However, if I lock the doors manualy without using the remote, the alarm will not go off. I replaced the ignition switch thinking it may be the problem, but that didnt fix it. What is casuing this to happen and how do I fix it?

Really need to check for codes in your anti-theft system You have several computers on this car and there are dozens of reasons why the alarm will go off in crazy ways. If you need more help, here are some shops in your area.

Are you serious? Don't bother answering if you don't know what you are talking about. Anyway...TSB from Ford addresses this...there is a door ajar switch that will cause a false entry signal to antitheft module. Replace the DOOR AJAR switch and that should do it. Also, the ignition cylinder tamper switch has been known to cause problems too. Start with the door switch.
