    We took our Rav4 here with a harsh shifting problem. They called me back with the following estimate: New Automatic Transaxle $4,000 + New ECM $1,000. Very vague explanation on what type of diagnostics they performed.
    The next day a Toyota Dealership replaced the ECM under the extension of the warranty on 2001-03 Rav4. Car is running fine since then, no new transmission needed.
