Question: aircompressor was making a funny noise and then the belt broke. what,s the cost?

I have a 2002 f150 and the air compressor was making a funny noise then the belt broke and the truck would not stay running. Is it going to cost more now than befroe the compressor froze up and the belt broke?

    compressor is 229
    dryer 79
    liquid line is 99
    labor for comp 1.5 hours
    labor for dryer is .9
    liquid line labor is 1.2
    evac and charge is 189

    belt is about 55, tensioner is 79
    labor for both is 1.3

    I would not take it back to where you had the first compressor done. It appears he did not do the repair properly. To do the job properly and correctly it will cost a little under $1000.
