The airbag light stays on all the time.

    Must have the car scanned to find the defective component. Then replace it. It could be an occupancy sensor, an air bag module, a crash sensor and so on. A thorough computer scan just has to be done. Sorry.

    Also have no protection with airbags while fault is present.Check with hyundai - may be under some sort of extended warranty .

    just got my hyundai sonata 04 air bag light off today. they plugged it up and the code was b1406 passanger detection. reset
