Question
My dad's truck had an airbag light come on. DTC B0108: Short in P Squib Circuit(B+). I went online to find some tips for troubleshooting, i didn't find much though. After much diagnosing the short went away after i unplugged the passenger side airbag. so i located the short. i replaced the airbag. Two and a half days later the light came back on. Then i located the another short between the passenger airbag switch and the airbag sensor center assembly. replaced the length of wire that lead between the two components. five days later my dad calls me and says the airbag light is on again. now im at a loss, i scanned it, its the same code. ive not tore into it yet. i would just like an opinion, or help in general. and the only component the ive not been able to find out how to test is the switch. would i test the contacts for continuity both ways in the on and off position?
