Question

Sedona airbag light stays on. I just got estimate on part for $480. I've seen blogs people buy from junkyards (used). I have someone that can install, I'd like to keep van a few years. Is buying a used part risky??
Thanks : )

A scan tool needs to be used to see what the particular code is that is triggering the air bag light to stay on, It may not be the computer that is at fault. It needs to be diagnosed properly before putting in a computer. If it is the computer a wrecking yard computer will either work or not work make sure they give you a guarantee. For diagnostic help Kia as a car manufacturer put a lot of great technical information and work shop manuals on line for free for Kia owners. www.kiatechinfo.com
