I took my crown vic in to have the heating coil replaced. the heat blew hot air and the air conditioner blew cool air out of the vents before I took it in to have heating coil replaced. I had the heating coil replaced because of the steam and smell, but the system was blowing before the repair.

you need to take the car back to the shop that did the repair and have them correct this issue. there is no sense in paying another shop to straighten out their
    fubar.
