what would make the cooling system to air lock? its a 2005 3.4 changed the water pump. i thought all the air was out of the system and now i can still smell coolent

EnthusiastSometimes an air pocket can occur while doing cooling system services. If there is not a visible air bleeder to purge the air out,sometimes just letting it sit for a bit can help air to rise and escape. Recheck your antifreeze level after this..Flex
