Question: air hot on one side and cold on other

my ac is blowing cool air out one side and hot air on the other what r all possibilitys it could be

    I had same problem on 99 Regal. It is a blend door motor under the dash. This changes the flow of air thru the vents when you adjust it on the dash. I had to have it disconnected. You can then reach up under and twist the knob opening the door maually...but it's a pain to do
