The air filter housing is in the right side of the engine compartment. With the engine off unclip the upper half of the air filter housing There are about 5 snap clips that once undone the upper half of the air filter housing can be lifted out of the way to gain access to the filter. You do not need to remove the rubber ducting to the engine there is enough room to get the filter in and out. Replacing the cabin air filter requires dropping the glove box (which is easy) to gain access to the cabin air filter.
