1998 Toyota Camry Q&A

1998 Toyota Camry Question: Air control

Cannot control air flow direction from vents, air will not divert from floor to defrost or any other setting. It seems to be stuck. -
Answer 1
Toyota had a bulletin about a problem with the center air vent in the dash sticking. Is a problem not being able to get the center air register to move the louvers up ward and downward and side to side or is the problem you are experiencing a problem with the lever operation, ie you move the levers on the heater control and the air is not diverted from floor to windscreen defrost? -

no matter what setting I turn the control knob, the hv/ac will only exit center outlets on dash -
