PurchasedCRV-EXL July 16 - I feel like the air conditioning is not cold enough. I set the temperature on 70 degrees and I can fell warm air mixed with cool air. I have to turn it down to 62-65 degrees in order for my car to stay cool - it is never cold. What should be done to correct this problem? The dealership tells me this is normal as the "new" freon doesn't get as cold as the "old" freon. I don't buy this excuse. What kind of testing should be performed to see if my air conditioning is working properly?

MasterWhat is the actual temp of the air coming out of the vents? R-134a will get as cold as R-12. My 1999 Camry uses R-134a and will get the air coming out of the vents down to 43*F. This dealer is fuul of it. But since you are under warranty you should stay with dealers but you may try a different one.
