An AC (air conditioning) hose is a specially constructed, high pressure (500 psi) rubber hose with special aluminum fittings crimped on each end. Its purpose is to connect engine-mounted components to the body-mounted components of an AC system.

- Weak cool air from system (or no cold air at all)
- Visible oil residue on hose or fittings
