1999 Saab 9-3 Question: air conditioning and heating system keeps fan on after turning car off

1999 Saab 9-3 - 2.0L 4 cylinder turbo -
air conditioning and heating system keeps fan on after turning car off, may be relay? where can i get step by step directions to get relay. Is there another technical name for the relay. I noticed under hood box for fusese, I think, there were 2 square plugs with 3 prongs each unplugged. i put them in but fan did not stop. stopped when i took fuse on top to left of panel inside car. thanks
