air conditioning on 1996 Honda Civic

The air conditioning doesnt work. it only blows hot air. i took it to a shop to put freon in it and within ten minutes the air was hot again. There must be a leak

Connect a set of manifold gauges to it to see what your line pressures are. You may not have a leak, it could be that the pressure on the low side is just too high. Does the condensor fan kick on when the AC is on? Are the fins bent on the condensor core? Or it could be a leak, but you should at least check before jumping to conclusions..
