Question
Randomly, with the AC on 64 degrees, the fan will stop blowing. It'll be off for a minute or two then come back on again. The air is cold. What could be going on?
Answer #1
Your system may be icing up. This may cause the fan to shut off purposely to help the system normalize. If I am not mistaken, 64 degrees is Max Cool is it not? When was the last time your A/C system was serviced? Florida is brutal on A/C. Also have a good German shop service your A/C ( if not done within the last 12 mos) and scan your A/C computer for any trouble codes. If any are found, they must be repaired.

Yes, 64 is MAX cool. I have not ever had the AC serviced. THanks for your answer, I will look into it!

My 05 C230 was doing the same thing and it kept getting worse, thank god it was still under warrenty...they couldn't get it to throw any codes or duplicate it, so they replaced the blower and the thing works like brand new!
